Interview with George Acosta. Miami based DJ/Producer George Acosta has been active in the industry for more than 20 years. As the founder of his own ‘Waxhead Records’ label, he has remixed countless artists, from the B52s, to Ultra Nate, to Jon Secada, and released seminal mix compilations like “Miami Beach Bash” and “Trance Nation America”. In 2007 he became America’s Best DJ, received a Grammy nomination for a remix he did for Fabulous, and became a member of the ‘Remix and Producer’s Grammy Committee’. Early in 2010, George Acosta signed with Black Hole Recordings and now presents his first mix compilation for the label, entitled “From Miami To Amsterdam”.

Interview with the Cypriot Trance DJ/Producer and label owner, Haris C.  He is certainly one of the true pioneers of the trance sound in his homeland Cyprus. Thanks to Mix Fm radio station in which he is involved and the events, which he organises, some of the strongest names in the trance scene, like Armin, PVD, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten etc, performed in the island of Aphrodite in the exotic Cyprus. He appeared on the most happening trance labels, like Solaris, along with Rich Solarstone on his album ‘Touchstone’, Discover with his Anthemic ‘Time to Say Goodbye’, Alter Ego, Infrasonic, and are daily added under his belt. He is not only very good at composing unforgettable melodies, but also he is able to switch between styles and influences. From the banging euphoric uplifting style to the more deep esoteric progressive trance beauties like the latest 4U.

Interview with the acclaimed DJ and producer Danjo from Netherlands.   Every Trance addict must have had at least three moments in his life where he got in touch with the exhilarating sounds of Danjo. The Dutch born, Danjo Raijer, has created mass hysteria on the dance floors worldwide, serving the audience with majestic anthems like “Everlast”, “Duende”,  “What Lies Ahead” (with Rob Styles),  “As The Tables Turn”, “Captivity” and his latest trance bomb called, “It is Written”. For this fantastic release, he teams up with Siberian producer’s duo, Andrew Shartner. The warm progressive sounds and great melody are phenomenal in this track. Both Danjo and Andrew Shartner did their own mix.

Interview with the DJ, producer and label owner Tyler Michaud. With his diverse and energetic sound, Tyler Michaud has firmly emerged as one of the most promising leaders of the next generation of DJs and producers. Tipped by the British 'Mixmag Magazine' as the "Talented & Confident Audio-Bully"; his impressive production repertoire has been released on numerous top electronic music labels, including Tiësto’s Black Hole, Paul Van Dyk's Vandit Records, Armin Van Buuren's Armada Recordings, and several other major commercial and independent music imprints. While having been play-listed and featured by almost every A-list DJ imaginable, Tyler has been busy crafting a style which is best described as an aggressive journey through massive electronic basslines, hard industrial guitar riffs, glitchy techno grooves, and mystifying organic melodies. This is best showcased on his own New School Recordings label, as well as his "New School Radio" monthly show, which is currently hosted on several different syndicate stations & platforms.

Interview with DJ Observer and Daniel Heatcliff about mixing their latest volume 16, of the legendary compilation series “In Trance We Trust” DJ Observer and Daniel Heatcliff met in 2005, and started producing together, driven by the same passion for Trance and House music. After remixes for Gareth Emery, Robbie Rivera and their first releases on Tekelek Recordings and Juicy Music, their debut release on the ‘In Trance We Trust’ imprint was “Fake Call” in 2009, followed by more releases on the same label. Now, the two DJ/Producers put the crown on their hard work, and deliver the new “In Trance We Trust, Vol.16”

Interview with DJ and producer Marc Simz. Marc Simz, was born in 1976 in Nijmegen (Holland), and his first contact with the world of vinyl, was at the tender age of 18. In his early years he mixed hardcore, now known as oldschool. While he was doing his thing, the love for music kept on growing. After his residency at the Emporium Festival, Reloaded Festival, Summer Festival Nijmegen, Matrixx at the Park, Marc Simz is a new rising star. He plays every month at one of the biggest clubs in the world, the Matrixx.
